Makeup Revolution Haul

Hii! So last week i finally received my order from Makeup Revolution! I’ve never purchased from them before but i have adored the look of their products for so long that i just had to buy a few bits. Also, at the time i made my order they were doing a promotion, that if you spent so much (I’m thinking it was £30) you get a free mystery bag worth £25. I got super excited when these were delivered so obviously i had to do a post.

I’ve seen loads of individual reviews on these, so i won’t go into detail too much… Though if you’d like a full on review/swatch type of post on a specific one then just let me know 🙂

144 Eyeshadow palette 2016 collection.

This was the first thing i opened. I’ve seen this everywhere and just had to get it. I love how its got a really good range of different colours, and i am in love with the left/upper shades as you should know already i love a good nude. This only cost £10 (Reduced from £20) so i was a tad skeptic about how pigmented the shades would be. But, oh. my. The shades are amazing.. add in a primer and your on to a winner here.

Of course, there are 144 colours! If you want to see swatches of ALL the colours and how they look, head over to Katy’s blog ‘LittleMissKaty‘ to see a shit load of photos of all the brilliant swatches she took! (You can find her post >> Here <<)

Fortune Favours the Brave | British Beauty Blogger Palette

This was the palette i was the most looking forward to getting. I mean, just look at it, it is beautiful. I’m on the fence about whether to use this, just because i don’t want to wreck it. This only cost £9.99!! Yes, really. It is just so good looking (yes, i find eyeshadow attractive haha).. but really, i tested a few shades and they’re really pigmented (i really need to find another word to use rather than this) and to be honest the shades you get are great colours.

Also, how cool are the shade names?! I think Golden coins, New world and Lonely Planet are my favourites.

Ultra Contour Palette

Contouring is something i’m only just getting into… I’ll admit I’m not the best at it, but hey i do an ok job. Anywho, i have a cream contour palette already and didn’t really get on with it. So when i saw this one, which is a powder one, i thought i might as well give it a go and see if i can get on with this one better. Plus, for only £8, i couldn’t exactly say no could i?! I haven’t tried this palette yet (apart from a few swatches) so I am really looking forward to trying it out.

Golden Sugar 2 Rose Gold | Blush, Bronze and Highlight

This was one of those palettes, where you don’t really need it (I’m lying a bit there, i always need new makeup!) but buy it just because of how it looks! I am so so in love with this palette. Just look at it! So in this palette you get bronzers, merged bronzers, merged blushes and highlighters. These are hugely pigmented.. Especially the gold (which i might actually use as an eyeshadow) which is quite glittery.

Now all i need are some new brushes! So let me know if you have any recommendations (that aren’t too expensive, poor girl here remember).

Also, let me know if you would like me to do an individual review on any of these!

Have you tried any of these before? What are you thoughts? What’s your favourite item from Makeup Revolution? And what should i try next?

Kirsty x

    1. It really is a good palette (especially for the price). Thanks… Will hopefully be buying some more palettes from there soon, so keep your eyes peeled 🙂 Kirsty x
