Blogger beauty box

Hii! So if you didn’t see my snaps yesterday i received my first Blogger beauty box. I will say, this isn’t a subscription, though you could buy one every month if you wanted to 🙂

Anywho, the blogger beauty box is a beauty box (duh) organised by the amazing Vix Meldrew (go and visit her blog >here< cause she is just awesome), she started this back in June last year and the boxes are £10 each. There’s only around 40 (i think) per month, and they get snapped up pretty quick!

So this month there were 5 amazing products, and i think this is the first beauty box where i genuinely will use all of the things.

Nanogen Root Boost Hair Thickening Spray

This is worth £9.95, and if it works, will be the most handy thing in the box. My hair is reasonably thin and i’m always looking for the next volumising/thickening product. ‘Gain instant thickness and volume from this light , fast absorbing spray. Hair will immediately feel big, bouncy and full of life. Use with your hairdryer for even more oomph from the heat activated proteins. The formula contains Keratin and soothing Niacinamide to help care for you scalp.’ Sounds good, so i’ll test it over the week and let you know how it goes!

I love… Mango & Papaya bubble bath and shower creme

This smells so amazing! I love any sweet or fruity scents so this is definitely up my street.  ‘Feel refreshed with a burst of juicy mango and succulent papaya.  All our bubble bath & shower crèmes include our unique skin softening vitamin complex to help moisturise and keep skin soft and supple. Oh and just for good luck we’ve added natural extracts of mango and papaya to help you feel refreshed. Yippee! For the record our fabulous products are Soap Free, Paraben Free and pH Balanced.’ I don’t actually know what papaya smells like but you can really smell the mango. Cannot wait to try this out!

Lipaholic by 4U2 Cosmetics

So, 4U2 cosmetics are an american company that started in L.A. Their official launch is in Autumn and i’m quite looking forward to seeing what else they have after trying out this lipstick. I got the shade 01 – Selfie, which is a nude tone, and you should know by now that i love a good nude. I always seem to use matte lipsticks so it’s a slight change to my usual but this lipstick is super creamy and lasts quite a while! Also, 4U2 are cruelty free and certified by PETA.

Derma Babies Fall in Love heavenly mum & baby massage oil

So this one was an odd one, and i think a few other people were a tad confused as to why it was in the box. Whatever the reason i don’t particularly care (not in a bad way). Firstly this smells so good and secondly, i tested a bit on my hand and oh my, my hands were left so soft (yes, i know its massage oil not hand lotion). Even though it’s aimed at mums and babies for bonding it ‘protects and deeply nourishes delicate skin‘ and that can never be a bad thing right?! It’s also ‘Lightly infused with raspberry, oatmeal milk and honey essential oils, to soothe and lend a subtle sweet fragrance‘ so it smells amazing as well. Sod the babies, i will be using this for myself 🙂

Fab Little Bag – Bathroom pack & refill pack

I’ve never heard of these before but they’re such a good idea! ‘FabLittleBag is a discreet little bag that you can drop your used tampon into (also perfect for intimate wipes) and hygienically seal securely with one hand using the patented clever finger loops‘ So basically, they’re bags you put your used tampons in, meaning you don’t flush them down the toilet, therefore making you more enviromental in the process. The bags are also biodegradable.

So, that’s the lot. For me this was a really good beauty box.. as i said at the beginning it’s the first beauty box where i know i’ll get use out of every item!

If you want to reserve your box click >here< They are £10 and remember there’s only 40 altogether so be quick!!
