Monkey melts

Hii! If you didn’t already know, I am obsessed with wax melts at the minute, I have a burner going in nearly every room of the house! And of course that means I love finding new scents to make my house smell delish.

So when i was able to choose some melts from Monkey melts I was super excited. Monkey Melts is based in Stoke on Trent (uk) and from my experience have such amazing customer service (it’s kinda like buying something from a friend, especially when given suggestions on what scents you’d prefer).

There’s such an array of different scents to choose from and also different shapes, so I tried to choose one of each from each scent category and each shape category as well!

Scent wise you can choose from bakery, drink, dupe, floral, fresh, fruity and sweet!

Shape wise you can have a large monkey, mini monkeys, banana bunches, crumble and shot pot.

Large MonkeyKey Lime Pie

Mini MonkeysGrape soda pop & Salt water taffy

Shot potPina colada

Mini banana bunchesMonkey farts & Pina colada

CrumbleDance with the sugar plum fairy & Island fresh

Can we just take a moment to appreciate that one of the scents is MONKEY FARTS! I just loved the name of this one and it’s a fruity scent which is all the better as they’re my favourite.

I’ve tried to use as many as i can both to see how long they burn for and also to see if they still smell when re-lighting them as i find that’s always an issue whenever i have wax melts.

To time how long each lasts i usually just go by how many tea lights i use.. So the mini bunch of banana’s lasted through 4/5 tea lights and it didn’t really loose the strong scent until it was nearly run out (and i also think i’d not burned it for a day or two and that doesn’t usually help). The scents are to die for! I’m really fussy when it comes to scents i buy online as i find they never actually smell like what you think they would (if that makes any sense at all) but all were just as i imagined them to smell like!

Annd of course, I had to get a new burner as well to keep up with my obsession!

I’m always on the lookout for new scents and coming into the Autumn/winter months I’ll have my burners going and I’ll be stocked up on candles too with a bit of luck. So if you have any recommendations please let me know!
